Comme il fait super beau aujourd'hui, ça me fait penser au printemps qui approche, à l'été, tout ça... 

Alors j'ai envie de vous faire écouter une belle musique qui me rappelle l'été et le soleil. 

C'est un morceau de la B.O. du superbe dessin-animé japonais La Traversée du temps, par Mamoru Hosoda (studios Kazé). La musique est de Kiyoshi Yoshida.

Because today the sun is shining outside (in France, anyway), it makes me think about the upcoming spring, the summer, and all of that...

So, I would like to share a beautiful music that reminds me of the summer and the sun.

It's a track from the film score of the splendid Japanese animated movie The Girl who leapt through time, by Mamoru Hosoda (Kaze studios). Music by Kiyoshi Yoshida.

Aujourd'hui, j'ai décidé de partager quelque chose d'un peu spécial avec vous.

En fait, cette esquisse... N'est pas une esquisse ordinaire.

(Je gère trop le suspense, hein ?)

Cette esquisse... Illustre un moment du roman que je suis en train d'écrire.

Eeeeeh oui, pour ceux qui ne le savaient pas déjà, j'écris un roman. Depuis l'été dernier (l'été 2012, si vous n'aviez pas compris).

Oui, le terme "roman" est vague, je suis bien d'accord. Mais je ne tiens pas à en dire grand-chose pour l'instant.

Bon, je peux vous en dire à peu près la longueur : j'ai écrit exactement 523 501 signes (les signes sont tous les caractères, espaces y compris), c'est-à-dire 88 923 mots, c'est-à-dire 197 pages Word avec la police "Cambria" en taille 14 et interligne simple.

Ça reste du charabia ? C'est pas grave. En gros : ça fait pas mal de pages. 

Et je n'ai pas fini de l'écrire... Je dirais que j'en ai écrit peut-être... Les trois-quarts. Un truc comme ça. 

J'avais envie d'illustrer, donc, un petit moment de mon texte (situé vers le début, je ne tiens pas à trop spoiler non plus, hein ?) et de le partager avec vous pour vous donner envie - après, ça marche ou ça marche pas.

Peut-être qu'un jour lirez-vous mon roman, qui sait ?

Today, I've decided to share something special with you.

In fact, this drawing... Isn't an ordinary drawing.

(I'm good at creating suspense, don't you think ?)

This drawing... Illustrates a moment in the novel I am currently writing.

Yes, for those who didn't already know, I'm writing a novel. Since the last summer (the summer 2012, if you didn't understand).

And yes, the term "novel" is vague, I agree with that. But I don't want to say too much about it for the moment.

Still, I can tell you its lenght : I've written exactly 523 501 characters (letters, ponctuation and spaces), which means 88 923 words, which means 197 pages of Word with the typeface named "Cambria" size 14 and with a simple interline.

My explanations are still a mumbo jumbo ? That's OK. Roughly, it does a lot of pages.

And I didn't finish writing it... I'd say that I've written maybe... Three quarters of it. Something like that.

So, I wanted to illustrate a little moment of my text (situated around the beginning, I don't want to spoil too much) and to share it with you all, to make you want to know more about it - but maybe it won't work.

Perhaps one day, you will read my novel, who knows ?
